Working as part of our Journey Beyond Group, you play an integral role in supporting our business to share special places and shape lasting memories

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Marketing Executive will support and oversee the planning, development, execution and ongoing management of marketing campaigns for American Queen Voyages (AQV) in the Australian market.

This role will also manage all localised AQV creative applications for the brand, including AU website, social media content, brochure content and any specific pre-departure / post-travel communications.

You will work closely with both Journey Beyond Marketing & Communications team and the Miami based AQV team on brand positioning and management, new customer acquisition, repeat loyalty initiatives and commercial results contributing to overall business performance.

Based in our Adelaide Corporate Office and part of the Group Marketing & Communications team, you will also have a strong working relationship with the American Queen Voyages team based in Miami.

This is a permanent part-time position (0.6).

Working across international time zones outside of normal hours is essential.

Your duties will involve, but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the development and management of annual marketing plans and budgets
  • Work closely with the Group Marketing Manager and wider Marcomms team to identify, develop, implement, execute marketing campaigns across all media channels and platforms (print, TVC, native advertising, digital, search, social, radio and OOH)
  • Contribute analysis and insights to monthly marketing reports, marketing plans and post-campaign reports
  • Competitor monitoring to ensure AQV brand remains competitive to leading operators in this space, adjust plans and messaging where required
  • Ensure website content is kept up to date and aligned with campaign communication and initiatives, in conjunction with the Digital Performance Manager
  • Assisting the CRM & Loyalty Managers on the customer journey, develop and execute annual email strategy
  • ABOUT YOU:

    Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Experience in developing and implementing tactical marketing and communication plans
  • Skills / Knowledge / Attributes

  • Strategic marketing planner across all marketing platforms
  • Experience developing and executing performance marketing strategies including SEO in a services eCommerce or retail environment
  • Proven success in managing multiple campaigns with a strong foundational knowledge in digital marketing through SEM, SEO and Social
  • Analytical and investigative problem solver with the ability to translate data and trends into strategies and compelling messaging
  • Data driven approach to above the line and digital marketing campaigns
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience highly desirable
  • Basic experience with WordPress and Google Analytics would be desirable
  • Adaptable and flexible with high attention to detail
  • Work well in a fast paced, multi-business environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and excellent team player
  • Innovative and creative thinker
  • Highly organised with strong time management ability
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills – ability to build and establish relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partnerships and new opportunities
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Suite programs
