About the role

As the Marketing Manager for Western Australia (WA), you will be in charge of creating and implementing a marketing and communication plan to support Arup’s success in the WA market.

To achieve this, you will work closely with the Geography Leadership team to understand the local market and clients, identify challenges and opportunities, and create marketing strategies that help Arup win projects with preferred clients and are aligned with Arup’s global and regional business and marketing strategy.

You will collaborate with the Australasia Portfolio Marketing Managers to align local plans with region-wide marketing plans. The role involves providing a range of marketing and communication solutions, such as market and client analysis, integrated marketing and communication programs and campaigns that deliver measurable results, business and industry association engagement and enabling the implementation of Arup’s key client program. Additionally, the role will involve supporting the Geography Leader with internal communications.

What will I do?

  • Develop and implement local marketing and communications plans to support achievement of the business plan and enhance brand reputation.
  • Contribute to local market business strategy and deliver internal communications
  • Provide local market input to regional marketing plan development and leverage regional initiatives in the local market.
  • Proactively manage local business and industry associations and support media relations activity and industry awards. Collaborate with client relationship managers to embed effective priority client management.
  • Lead specific projects or portfolios in the marketing and communications plan as part of growth and development. Report on marketing and communications budgets and assess marketing effectiveness.
  • What do I bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, with strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Extensive experience in strategic marketing and communication roles, with a wide range of marketing disciplines
  • Knowledge of the built environment and related industry trends, and strategic/tactical marketing practices
  • Ability to develop and deliver impactful marketing and communication plans and initiatives that achieve measurable results
  • Proven ability in building influential relationships with stakeholders
