Duties

  • As the Superintendent’s Representative, undertake contract administration duties (including on site auditing) for the delivery of road resurfacing and pavement marking periodic maintenance contracts using project management principles.
  • Apply technical knowledge to scope and specify road pavement repair, road resurfacing and pavement marking requirements, including on site assessments and markups.
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders complying with the State Roads Stakeholder and Community Engagement Framework.
  • Provide input to practical, innovative and technical initiatives for the improvement of relevant State Growth specifications and periodic maintenance processes.
  • Assist the Project Manager Maintenance with the procurement of road resurfacing and pavement marking works, taking into consideration value for money outcomes are achieved in accordance with both industry best practice and Agency and Government guidelines and policies.
  • Essential Requirements

    Evidence of the following must be provided prior to appointment to this role:

  • A current drivers licence.
  • Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in contract administration, risk management and supervision of road maintenance works
