We currently have an opportunity for a reliable Full-Time  Accommodation Receptionist to join our Downer Defence team in Canberra. This position will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the accommodation and room booking services and requires outstanding customer service and administration skills.

What you’ll be working on:

Maintaining Reservation Booking Systems and ensuring room information is up to date and information is provided to cleaning and housekeeping staff to ensure all required rooms are ready in accordance with Defence timeframes;

Perform the daily accommodation and reception desk services;

Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly and escalate issues to the Supervisor or Manager if unable to resolve;

Ensure accurate filing and record keeping are maintained;

Follow safety practices in the workplace;

What you’ll bring:

Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship Mandatory);

Experience with a Reservation Management System (preferred but not essential);

Strong Microsoft Office skills;

Must hold a current Australian Drivers Licence;
