Job Description

Ventia is seeking a Hospitality & Catering Rostering Co-ordinator for the upcoming US Marine rotation. This role is primarily Monday to Friday but may include some weekend/on call work. As part of the Hospitality team, you will be required to organise and monitor a rostering system which encompasses 5 busy messes delivering daily catering services to Defence members.

Immediate start – October 2023.

Specific requirements of the role will include:

Ensure Hospitality & Catering, across all sites, are adequately staffed by analysing and understanding the make-up of the current workforce

Back filling vacancies on rosters

Actioning roster changes for BOH & FOH staff members

Assisting Supervisors with staffing issues

Skills & Experience:

Excellent Communication Skills

Knowledge of Hospitality and Catering service delivery is preferred but not essential

Intermediate IT skills

The ability to learn online rostering systems

Special conditions:

This position requires you to pass an Australian Federal Police check

Must have working rights

Must have a car/transport to base
