Defence Force Recruiting is a unique partnership between ManpowerGroup and the Australian Defence Force, to recruit Defence personnel for our Australian Navy, Army, and Air Force.

ManpowerGroup is extremely proud of the relationship it has with the Australian Defence Force, one that has stretched over almost two decades. This partnership is the largest of its kind, globally, with the Australian Defence Force the only Defence Force to outsource its entire recruitment process: right from the attraction of candidates, through our talent pipeline to enlistment of the candidates.

ManpowerGroup’s Contract with the Australian Defence Force will end on 30 June 2023, at which time Adecco will take over the delivery of the Defence Force Recruiting Contract. There will be an opportunity for the successful candidate to apply for an ongoing role with Adecco from 1 July 2023, so candidates looking for ongoing / permanent work are encouraged to apply.

As an Administrator you will;

  • Support facilities management
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff and candidates
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience
  • Complete monthly finance and invoicing
  • Assist with internal and external meetings
  • Support assessment and enlistment coordination
  • Varied receptionist & administrative duties

With no two days the same, the Administrator works closely with the senior leadership team and key stakeholders to ensure effective operational running of the office. Unlike other administrative roles, this position will enable you to build on your existing administration skills and become more of an office all-rounder. There will be opportunities to grow within the role and take on extra responsibilities for the right candidate.

What we are looking for in an Administrator;

To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive person and a team player
  • Able to work across different systems and with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
