    Salary: $91,321+ 10.5% Super (with co-contribution option up to 15.5%)

    About the role:

    We’re on the hunt for a passionate and creative Content Coordinator to join our newly centralised Content & Social Team. This role is responsible for coordinating the planning, creation and distribution of valuable, relevant, and consistent editorial and educational content, to attract and retain key audiences — and, ultimately, to drive positive customer and business outcomes.

    In practice, you will oversee the planning, production, and governance of our content marketing strategy to improve customer water literacy, inspire behaviour change and build brand connections with our target audiences.

    You will work collaboratively with a dynamic and diverse cross section of employees across the business. From net zero strategists and hydrologists, to water quality and seawater desalination experts, your task is to capture and translate our unique water story.

    What the role will involve:

  • Researching, crafting, editing, publishing and distributing original and engaging content targeted at our key audiences. Outputs include articles, videos, photos, audio and interactive content with a heavy focus on digital publishing
  • Supporting our content strategists and social media specialists with the coordination of content for web and social media
  • Liaising with external production partners to coordinate content delivery
  • Maintaining the enterprise editorial content calendar, with input from other communications colleagues, and coordinate associated production cycles as part of the organisation’s content working group
  • Championing enterprise content governance and best practices, maintain the Writing Style Guide, and providing coaching to the organisation to elevate content experiences
  • Reporting on content performance, recommending and implementing learnings to optimise results for continuous improvement
  • Key skills and experience:

  • Tertiary level qualification in journalism, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related discipline
  • Considerable experience in content development and publishing for both digital and offline mediums
  • Demonstrated experience in journalism, content marketing, social media marketing, and/or digital content management
  • Considerable experience in developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
  • Strong ability to produce and edit content to meet customer information needs, and tell a compelling brand story
  • Highly organised and astute with the ability to prioritise competing workloads
  • Excellent attention to detail and a stickler when it comes to correct spelling and grammar
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices to improve organic search experiences through content
  • Familiarity with industry-related legislative and compliance requirements including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0
  • Familiarity with Sitecore, or similar content management systems, and workflow management tools highly regarded
  • Experience using content performance measurement tools including Google Analytics favourable but not essential
