Education Manager 2 – Quality (nursing & Allied Health)

Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be accountable for the provision of quality management, operational leadership and business development to support business growth and development of strategies and programs that promote the Institute’s Educational Excellence Framework.

You will directly support the Manager Nursing & Allied Health and peers in managing and leading the implementation of quality assurance and operational excellence linked to business growth and opportunities that enhance the Institute’s reputation and meets industry and community needs in relevant course areas.

Your key accountabilities will be to:

  • Ensure all courses meet compliance requirements for Standards for RTOs 2015, the Skills First VET Funding contract and VET Student Loan requirements
  • Ensure teaching and learning activities meet regulatory standards, training package requirements, adhere to Chisholm policies and procedures and other related requirements
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to support quality and business process audits, either standalone or as part of wider Chisholm Team. Ensure review and audit outcomes are integrated into continuous improvement and the product development pipeline
  • Partner with key quality services within Chisholm including Academic Quality, Educational Improvement and the Professional Educator College to engage in quality assurance activities, including ensuring that all teaching staff hold appropriate qualifications and experience to deliver training in every unit, and continue to develop their professional and vocational currency in line with the standards and Chisholm policies.
  • Maintain and monitor quality folders including folder hierarchy, document control and use of current quality templates
  • ABOUT YOU

    You will have:

  • Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) 
  • Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the level required and industry currency
  • Crucial to your success will be your demonstrated experience in current developments and contemporary approaches in vocational education delivery and successful experience in the delivery and development of contemporary educational programs, approaches and developments that meet learner, industry and community needs.

    You will have proven people leadership and management skills together with high level interpersonal and communication skills, presentation skills, a range of literacy, written and communication skills and high level organisational skills.

    You will also have a practical understanding of the Standards for RTOs and requirements of the Skills First VET Funding Contract relevant to online training delivery and experience with quality reviews, educational business and self-assurance processes.
