Position Details

Are you a service-orientated person with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills? Would you like to play a lead role in providing advice on behalf of the Assistant Deputy Secretary, maintaining key relationships with the Offices of the Minister, as well as with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders?

About you:

You will need to demonstrate proficient time management skills, be accountable and take initiative and develop strong stakeholder relationships.

Uses appropriate purchasing processes that reflect the complexity of the procurement in accordance with departmental policy

Develop and implement guidelines to improve work practices and efficiencies, maintaining and enhaning office based systems and processes

Oversee and coordinate meeting and conference preparations, including preparing agendas and follow up actions

Establish and manage governance arrangements, processes, bodies and working groups by working closely with business areas and sponsors to ensure that the program or project continues to deliver upon organisational goals
