We have multiple full-time permanent GSA positions available at the Hotel Grand Chancellor and The Chancellor on Currie. Our teams are growing, and we are looking for likeminded individuals who are passionate about providing an exceptional high-quality level of service to our guests.

If you have demonstrated knowledge and experience in hotel operations or looking to utilise your exceptional customer service skills and can pick up new software and procedures with ease, then we want to hear from you.

  • Reporting to the Front Office and Duty Managers, the Guest Service Agent will support the efficient Front Office operations. Providing a warm, welcoming, professional and efficient check-in and check-out procedure ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. 

    Key responsibilities for the role include but not limited to:

  • Provide efficient service for guest registrations and departures
  • Settle guest accounts, ensuring cashiering is accurate
  • Adhering to all credit and accounting procedures 
  • Manage guest requests and grievances in a professional and timely manner
  • Store and retrieve guest luggage as required or requested in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure across daily hotel functions, groups, conventions and tours
  • Work closely with other Front Office personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests
  • Attend to all incoming calls in a professional and polite manner
  • Provide tourist information to guests and make reservations for sightseeing tours, restaurants, the cinema and live entertainment
  • This position is offered on a permanent full-time basis, providing you with job security. You must have full working rights, be flexible and able to work a 7-day roster incorporating days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
