The Arts and Culture Trust (ACT) was established on 1 July 2022 when the Arts and Culture Trust Act 2021 was proclaimed, replacing the Perth Theatre Trust (PTT).

• His Majesty’s Theatre
• Subiaco Arts Centre
• The State Theatre Centre of Western Australia

The ACT venues are used by local, national and international performing arts companies, performers and artists, both professional and amateur. School and children’s performances and activities are also presented at these venues.

Funded arts organisations presenting regular seasons in ACT venues include the Barking Gecko Theatre Company, Black Swan State Theatre Company, Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company, West Australian Ballet and West Australian Opera, as well as the Perth International Arts Festival.

Job Description
This is an advertisement for multiple roles at different levels
Opportunities become available throughout the year in the following positions:
• Cooks and Chefs
• Kitchenhands
• Food and Beverage Attendants
• Food and Beverage Supervisors
Cooks and Chefs
These roles will be responsible for the preparation and production of superior food services at the Albany Entertainment Centre as per event requirements, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Level 5 and 6 roles will be required to supervise and train team members.
Kitchen Attendant (Kitchen Hand)
The position supports the Head Chef and Kitchen team to produce and serve quality food. In particular, but not limited to Café, Functions & Events.
The role works with the Head Chef and casual Chefs to deliver a clean, safe and operational kitchen and support the team with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen through food preparation and dishwashing.
Food and Beverage Attendants and Supervisors
The Food and Beverage Attendants and Supervisors are responsible for providing consistent and high-quality food and beverage services. They provide exceptional presentation and service delivery to all clients and patrons whilst forming an integral part of a strong, supportive, and professional team.
ACT venues operate in a 7 day a week environment and there will be a requirement to work weekends and after normal business hours.
