The Position:
This full time role is based in the Rug Laundry in our warehouse at the rear of our head office in Woodville Park.

It is a physical role that involves lifting rugs, providing quotes for rug cleaning and restoration, completing rug cleaning, restoration & drying services, speaking with customers with regard to questions and concerns, assisting with warehouse duties such as unpacking deliveries, washing rags, emptying bins etc.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Dry cleaning
  • Steam cleaning
  • Hand cleaning
  • Bathing
  • Repairs
  • Decontamination
  • Odour control
  • Moth control

It is a technical role that will involve extensive training and strong attention to detail. Use your strong communication skills when liaising with customers with regard to their needs and concerns. Excellent listening skills are essential in the role to build confidence and reassure customers that their needs will be met, if not exceeded.

Cleaning and carpet cleaning experience is preferred but not essential as specialised training will be provided for the right candidate.

 

O’Shea’s Ideal Candidate:

  • Police clearance or willingness to complete one
  • Current drivers licence and access to vehicle
  • Excellent communication – above and beyond customer service skills
  • Comfortable to travel and work out and about in the community, unsupervised
  • An eye for detail, you quality check your own work – only the best for our customers!
  • Being your smile with you – good sense of humour and a positive attitude is a must
  • Able to handle a variety of tasks including heavy physical work
  • Flexible with work hours – including some weekends, evenings and early mornings
