  • Salary – $56,987 – $61,301 pro-rata – Part Time (0.9 FTE) – Ongoing/ Permanent – ASO2

    Overview

    The Administrative Officer, Paediatric Rehabilitation, reports to the Unit Head, Paediatric Rehabilitation, and is responsible for providing confidential and comprehensive administration support of a high quality for the Paediatric Rehabilitation Department which provides services to children and young people with physical and cognitive impairments due to conditions such as acquired brain and spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, stroke and other disorders.

    The Women’s and Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women and children in Adelaide and South Australia.

    It is the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions and SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service. It also provides important community-based services.

    Each year, more than 30,000 people are admitted and about 5000 babies are born at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. In addition more than 250,000 people come to the hospital as outpatients.

    The hospital has 295 beds. The hospital’s paediatric and adolescent wards cater for all paediatric specialties. Women’s wards provide antenatal, gynaecology, neonatal and postnatal care.
