Food & Beverage Supervisor | Mercure Gold Coast Resort

Mercure Gold Coast Resort is an oasis located amongst expansive gardens on the Gold Coast. Overlooking the Oasis pool and the ninth hole of the Palm Meadows Golf Course, The Green Dining restaurant and bar welcomes our guests.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Services Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the breakfast buffet, a la carte dinner service and conference & events.

To be the successful candidate you will have demonstrated experience in a Hotel or Resort working in a Food & Beverage capacity. Experience in Restaurant, Bar and Conference & Events will be highly regarded.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Excellent communication skills, and high standard of grooming and personal presentation,
  • Previous leadership experience in hospitality with a focus on guest service and team engagement, including the ability to train others
  • A leader genuinely passionate for providing exceptional customer service, motivated to train and develop a team to share this enthusiasm,
  • The ability and flexibility to work across a seven day rotating roster, including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays,
  • Currently hold, or be willing and able to obtain Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
  • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Working closely with the Food & Beverage management team to ensure customer expectations are met in all formats of the operation.
  • Effectively dealing with customer concerns and complaints.
  • Working across The Green Dining buffet breakfast, restaurant and bar, The Cart Takeaway the seasonal poolside Oasis Bar and the Resort’s Conference & Events Space.
  • Assisting in promoting a positive working culture within the Food & Beverage team.
