Sous Chef – Banquets

We are looking for a hard-working and highly dedicated Sous Chef to support Chef De Cuisine in all aspects of kitchen management, including procurement of ingredients, production schedules, training, menu creation and managing team members.

The ideal candidate will be someone with:

• Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• 2 years working as a Sous chef in a large banquet/catering operation environment
• Experience with bulk production
• Understand costing and labour control
• Demonstrate ability in planning, resourcing and controlling expenses
• Flexibility to work 40 hours per week on a rotating roster that can include mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
