The Role

ManpowerGroup are currently seeking an energetic and driven sales focused Account Manager to join their team in Hobart. We require an experienced consultant with a passion for sales and are driven by the chase, to maintain, develop and grow the manufacturing, warehousing and logistics business unit. Candidates with no previous recruitment experience but have similar or transferable skills in client relationship management and or sales with are welcome to also apply.

Reporting directly into our Divisional Manager, you will deliver a quality service to our clients and adhere to service level agreements and account management plans to further develop and grow our accounts.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Generate new revenue through a variety of business development techniques
  • Delivery and implementation of account management strategies that meet clients’ expectations, in terms of time and quality in the delivery of our services
  • Maintaining proactive relationships with our clients and establishing an active client call cycle to conduct service & quality reviews to monitor and improve service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain industry network and personal brand
  • Consistently meet target levels such as number of client visits, safety conversations, hazard & near miss follow up, post placement client and candidate care calls and visits, candidate performance reviews
  • Lead generation across ManpowerGroup
  • Achievement of GP/Budget
  • Maintain adequate pipeline of new business to achievement budget
  • Performance management of the casual workforce
  • Safety management and incident follow up

  Your Background

In order to be considered for this highly lucrative role you should have:

  • Sales and client relationship management experience
  • Demonstrated communications & presentation skills
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills
  • Experience in the recruitment industry or similar industry
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Warehouse, Manufacturing and or Logistics Management exposure and experience advantageous
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority and help drive streamlined decision making across internal and external stakeholders
  • Full Driver’s licence
  • You are a ‘people person’ who thrives on getting results and ability to relate to a broad range of people
