About the role

 

As Store Manager you will lead the team of our Fyshwick store and will often be a key point of contact with our customers. A high-profile role you will be expected to lead by example, plan your resources, be highly organised to ensure daily sales plans are achieved and a culture of safety maintained. Our products are the key to our success. Product knowledge, design skills and an understanding of customer expectations are required, all of which can be delivered via our robust training programs. The added advantage of this role is the proximity to our manufacturing facility and general administration office.

 

The role will involve:

  • Day to day management of store team
  • Close working relationships with stakeholders from our manufacturing, finance and merchandise team
  • Liaison directly with Trade Account Customers and General Customers
  • Face to face and telephone sales
  • Sales & design systems to draft up quotes &/or completed designs for customers
  • Leading and participating in training and personal development sessions
  • Roster management and development of training programs
  • Performance coaching and development
  • Enquiries follow up and conversation management
  • Inventory management
  • Adherence to Stratco safety and other policies

Skills and attributes:  

  • A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Positive selling attitude & empower your team to sell
  • A self-starter able to set goals and deliver sales targets
  • Retail and/or Trade Outlet experience
  • Be able to coach & develop your team
  • Have a level of technical acumen to understand engineered products
