Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking an energetic Administrative Support Officer to join the North West Quality and Patient Safety Service team.

This position contributes to the successful positioning of the Quality and Patient Safety Service to provide high quality, accountable and measurable healthcare, both internally and externally, by:

  • Providing a range of customer-focused support and information services related to the Patient Safety Service.
  • Providing high level administrative support to the Nursing Director of Service Improvement and staff assigned to the Quality and Patient Safety Service in relation to the role’s duties.
  • Details of Appointment

    Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible for 12 months. 

    The work pattern for this role is 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday with one rostered day off per month. 

  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
  • Salary:  $69,574 – $75,199 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

  • Salary range is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 
  • Eligibility:

  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Certificate III or IV in business administration or similar
  • The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  • Conviction checks in the following areas:
  • crimes of violence
  • sex related offences
  • serious drug offences
  • crimes involving dishonesty
  • Identification check
  • Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
