Leidos Australia is looking for a Microsoft 365 Capability lead to join our team of highly skilled and motivated technicians and engineers based in Australia. Working as part of our multifunctional Capability team responsible for delivering and enhancing business critical services, ensuring the highest level of availability, performance, and security.

Under the direction of a designated Service Delivery Manager, perform the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:

  • Provide technical strategic direction and advice at an executive level for ATO SaaS capabilities, with a focus on our managed M365 components,
  • Assist in the planning of scheduled work within an Agile operating model,
  • Act as a technical escalation point to members for M365 managed services,
  • Assist in the identification of technology deficiencies and provide solutions to remediate,
  • Evaluate vendor product roadmaps and lifecycles to ensure solutions are current and future proofed,
  • Advise ATO business groups of feature enhancements and depreciation within product lifecycles,
  • Ensure incident/problem resolution SLA’s are being met across the services,
  • Provide team leadership and management of technical staff, including mentoring and guidance,
  • Assist in developing staff training plans for current and future projects and capabilities.
  • Mentoring junior staff members to provide positive outcomes.

 Your skills in the following areas will be highly valued:

  • Experience working within a large multivendor environment, 
  • PowerShell scripting and automation,
  • Experienced in primary M365 capabilities (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online),
  • Experienced in security components and capabilities of M365 (DLP, Defender, Cloud App Security),
  • Competent in supporting elements of M365 (Azure AD, Enterprise Applications, Azure services),
  • Working with vendors to ensure resolution of complex issues, 
  • Highly developed and demonstrated technical, interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Demonstrated organization and time management skills with the ability to work effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment,
  • Well-developed technical skills across technologies,
  • Proven capability to upskill and maintain knowledge in a wide variety of cloud infrastructure and keep up to date with releases and trends,
  • Experience of working within an Agile framework.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and be ellegible to gain a Baseline Security Clearance
