About the company

A growing Australian owned renewable energy contractor with large national and international contracts. As the company goes through their next growth phase, they have created a new role within the company to facilitate their current needs.

Currently a small team with around 80 years combined experience in the electrical and construction industry, there is a strong support network within the company.

The Role

With this being a new role created by the company, there is a large opportunity to shape it and grow with the business. You will come on board as a sales estimator, being the interface between sales and engineering. Your day to day will include:

• Monitor and manage incoming inquiries from sales team to ensure information is correct to progress.
• Presales activities including preliminary design, estimating, tender preparation and proposal support.
• Attending presales meetings and running presentations that support customer requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to the sales team.

Skills and Experience

Experience in commercial construction, solar systems and battery design are highly regarded. However, you will also benefit from:

• Commercial solar and batter design experience
• Ability to work with and design renewables around interval data
• Experience in preparation, analysis and presentation of cost estimates.
• Experience with Nearmaps and Helioscope is advantageous
