Our Trade Centres provide a delivery and pick up solution for key building lines, offering our commercial customers a service, delivering bulk quantities of stock to work sites. We partner with our commercial customers, helping them manager their project with a ‘whole of build’ solution. We stock a select number of core builders’ lines, that allows our customers to build from the slab up. Everything from timber, insulation, cladding, windows, doors and appliances. Our Trade Centres take the pick/pack and delivery of these bulk products out of our store environment which allows our stores to focus on giving the best customer experience and supporting other trades.

We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Officer / Trade Specialist Team Member to support our Toowoomba Trade Centre in Queensland Australia, this Monday to Friday role will be reporting directly to the Trade Centre Coordinator that will provide help and support in this next stage of your development with Bunnings.

As unique as this role is, we also require an exceptional problem solver, who has the potential to make a real genuine difference by putting our team and customers always first. Being an inspirational team member who has pragmatic thinking and thrives in a fast-pace role.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day sales support of in-bound calls, emails and face to face interactions whist ensuring the highest level of customer service in the network is maintained. You will have or have the ability to develop in-depth building / construction & supply chain knowledge and experience paired with excellent influencing skills that enable the team to thrive while ensuring continuous success & development of our commercial strategies. You will utilise our COS Quoiting and CCRM (Customer Management) systems to process orders and manage our client orders.

What you can expect to do:

  • Process Purchase Orders for our Clients
  • Contribute to a great team culture
  • Be the conduit between our customer service teams & order fulfilment sites
  • Build strong relationships with all Internal stakeholders such as Account Managers and local stores
  • Support accurate orders for our account management teams
  • Work with our CRM system stakeholders to ensure all interactions are delivered through this system to become one point for our customers
  • Listen & action customer feedback to improve overall customer service experience whilst supporting the relationship and retention of our customer base
