Brisbane Comedy Festival Volunteers 

Comic musings, sidesplitting stories and tear-inducing tales… Brisbane Comedy Festival returns in 2023, bursting at the seams with a hand-picked selection of the funniest folk in the country! To help deliver some of the most hilarious local, national and international comedians to Brisbane Powerhouse, we’re looking for an exceptional team of volunteers to join us from 28th April – 28th May 2023. Volunteering with us is a fantastic way for anyone with an interest in the arts/events to get involved with a flexible, rewarding, short-term commitment. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to see Brisbane Comedy Festival shows! 

Where We Need Your Help:

• Welcoming patrons and providing them with information about the festival. 
• Roaming the precinct and assisting with patron queries 
• Assisting operational staff across the precinct 

You will be working as a part of the Visitor Services team as the face of Brisbane Comedy Festival, welcoming thousands of patrons to Brisbane Powerhouse and providing crucial assistance to staff behind the scenes.
