ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced housekeeping cleaner to join our Environmental Services department at the Darlinghurst Campus consisting of Private & Public Hospital, The Sacred Heart Sanatorium and The St Vincent’s Clinic & Precinct Partners.

This role will be casual with a rotational roster with 7 days a week. Shifts range from:

• Daytime (6am, 7:30am and 10:00am start times – Rotational)
• Afternoon /evening (varies from 2pm through to 6pm start times)

Please stipulate clearly what shifts you are interested in and your availability – Days, Afternoons/Evenings.

Therefore, right candidate will be cross trained in Hospital cleaning and Infection Prevention and Control procedure to ensure rooms, public areas and clinical areas are cleaned thoroughly and of a high standards at all times.

ABOUT YOU:

As an outstanding Housekeeping cleaner, you are a master at providing cleaning services with extremely attention to detail.

Your skills will include:

• Experience in housekeeping operations in either a hospital or hotel environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure or unsupervised.
• Be reliable, punctual, hardworking and well groomed.
• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and time management skills.
• Ability to work a rotational roster with 7 day availability including weekdays, weekend and public holidays, morning and afternoon shifts if required.
• Ability to operate polishers and scrubbers beneficial, however not essential.

REMUNERATION:

St. Vincent’s Health Australia (NSW private Hospitals) Support Services Enterprise Agreement 2018.

Casual Basis up to $32 hours + salary packaging + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.

ABOUT ST VINCENTS PRIVATE HOSPITAL SYDNEY

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney is located in the heart of the well-known St Vincent’s Health Campus in Darlinghurst and co-located with St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and research centres including the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, The Kinghorn Cancer Centre and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. Our co-location creates cross-campus opportunities for all aspects of our health care business and the staff who work in it.
