Warehouse Operator

Our client is in need of a Full-Time Warehouse Operator for their Sunshine premises.

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Warehouse Operatoris to efficiently manage the daily despatch/receivals and warehouse needs to ensure the Assembly area operates effectively. There will also be need for hands on assistance with Assembly builds.

Warehouse Duties:

• Manage internal Assembly materials needs (pick)
• Manage outward goods movement (Pack, wrap, book deliveries)
• Manage inward goods receival against PO’s and put away
• Conduct consistent and regular inventory counts & maintain picking processes
• Load and unload trucks as required

Assembly Duties:

• To assist with the assembly of products as directed
• Coordinate product assembly with Despatch requirements to ensure delivery priorities are met.

General:

• To operate machinery, forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand tools according to industry best practices and safe working procedures
• Assist in keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe always
• Report concerns/issues directly to Team Leader
• Willingness to learn new tasks and be part of a team
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instruction
• Ability to work autonomously
• Follow all company OH&S Procedures
• Maintain punctuality in regard to start and finish times and work overtime as the job requires to ensure warehouse/production schedules are met.

Qualifications/experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• LF Licence (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Computer literate
