Are you a motivated and caring Assistant in Nursing, or studying to become a Registered Nurse?

This is an exciting career opportunity to work as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) as part of our dynamic nursing team at Knox Private Hospital you will work in partnership with support networks and a multidisciplinary team, to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience.

About us
Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 295 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 20 bed ICU/CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.

As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
  • Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
  • Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication
  • Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
  • Flexibility to manage shift work (including, day & night shifts) over 7 days
