About the Role
Anglicare’s Community Aged & Disability service offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local residents, including help at home. Our service in  Hervey Bay have an opportunity for a part-time Domestic Assistant to provide cleaning and household support to our clients in surrounding areas.

About You
The valuable work you deliver enables our older clients to remain in their own homes enjoying a quality of life.

  • A background in general domestic cleaning duties
  • Experience in laundry services including washing, folding, sorting and ironing
  • Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment and machinery in-line with instructions
  • Able to follow procedures and ensure the clients’ personal preferences are adhered to
  • Confident communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
  • Experience working within designated timeframes
  • Queensland Driver Licence and your own, reliable vehicle
  • A National Police Certificate current within six months
  • A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded
