Full Time or Part-time 4 days per week option

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced company secretary to join Crown’s Company Secretariat team in the role of Company Secretary. 

As Company Secretary you will be responsible for the provision and delivery of the secretariat services to Crown Resorts’ subsidiary entities. The Company Secretary plays an important role in supporting the overall effectiveness of Crown’s corporate governance and secretariat framework by acting as company secretary for a range of subsidiary entities, ensuring compliance with best practice corporate governance, coordinating board meetings to ensure they operate effectively and providing overall support to the boards of Crown Melbourne, Crown Sydney and Crown Perth, and the Group Company Secretary.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a governance or company secretary role
  • Governance Institute of Australia – Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance
  • Strong understanding of the Corporations Act, ASIC and ACNC regulations
  • Possess confident, professional, and mature communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with directors, senior management, and other internal and external stakeholders 
  • Pragmatic, proactive people person who is happy to work as a team as well as autonomously.  Forward and proactive thinking and planning is paramount.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Casino Special Employee Licence, undergo Police, Credit and other assessment checks (we will help you with these)
