About the Role:

We are seeking a Remuneration and Benefits Specialist to support the attraction and retention of talent and a great employee experience by identifying and negotiating remuneration and benefits packages that reflect the value of our people. The Remuneration and Benefits specialist researches and knows the market value of all employees; designing a suite of remuneration and benefits programs and options that can be applied to individualise contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement competitive remuneration and benefit programs that align with the organisation’s goals and objectives.   
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure that the remuneration and benefits programs are competitive.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure that the remuneration and benefits programs meet the needs of the organisation and employees.
  • Partner with the HR team to design and implement employee recognition programs and other initiatives that drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding remuneration.
  • Manage the annual performance review and salary review processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure the organisation has access to the latest data and insights on remuneration and benefits.

How can you be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Experience conducting job evaluations to identify appropriate remuneration.
  • Understanding employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
