About the role:

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing professional to join our West Coast Marketing team, reporting to the West Coast Marketing Manager. The role is to support the delivery of brand, marketing campaigns and communication strategies for Alinta Energy in Western Australia.

Duties:

• Support WA’s retail marketing strategy, including the development of key customer communications
• Work closely and in partnership with creative agencies, media agencies, copywriters’ designers and printers to deliver successful end to end communication and marketing campaigns (acquisition and retention)
• Prepare business cases as required to gain approvals for project initiatives
• Define and develop customer value propositions and key customer experience proof points for each segment to deliver successful plans and tactical activities
• Partner with a range of internal stakeholders across the business including the sales, product, customer operations, billing, legal, regulatory and contact centre functions
• Marketing operations – providing support across the broader WA business as required

To be successful you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent
• Wide-ranging marketing campaign experience or similar role
• Experience in and understanding of B2C marketing principals
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to write customer facing copy and content.
• Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in market analysis including preparation of market profiles, category performance, trends and opportunities, competitor and customer profiles and market segmentation
