About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager – Sport, This is an exciting and fast paced role for anyone who has a passion for the sports industry. Our clients include the who’s who in sports and sporting entertainment. It is an amazing opportunity to bring your experience to this VIP, exciting part of the travel industry, where you have backstage access and chance to work closely with key players in Sports.
  
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining the relationship between CTM Sport and our VIP Clients, reviewing and improving client retention as well as growing the internal client base. This will be achieved by understanding client requirements, executing solutions, delivering on objectives and most importantly building solid relationships. 
  
This role is quite diverse in that the incumbent will need to be involved and proficient in multiple aspects of Travel, Events and sales, building and maintaining client relationships to fulfilling operational deliverable and managing project files. The role also requires a level of maturity and experience in dealing with a high level of pressure and problem-solving both internally and externally.   
  
The Account Manager would also be responsible for the support and development of the operational team.  The role relies on the ability to understand and utilise the resources and expertise within your team and to help support the team’s and client’s overall outcomes and expectations. Ensuring that service standards are maintained, given this is the core of our business, is critical. 
  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.  

  • Research, formulate and implement strategies in order to retain and grow our VIP client base  
  • Understand our clients requirements and provide a value adding solution in the form of strategic thinking, research, planning, execution and review 
  • Build and maintain solid client and network relationships  
  • Consider every occasion an opportunity to promote and upsell CTM Sport
  • Represent CTM Sport in the marketplace on a professional basis to increase market and brand awareness
