About the role

We have an exciting, permanent opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our branch in Wishart NT and service our customers’ needs across a range of equipment, including access, power generation, pumping and civil products.

In this role, your key accountabilities will be to:

• Attend to breakdowns and repairs, both on sites and workshop
• Programmed servicing / Engine Servicing both in the workshop and field
• Carry out all mechanical inspections in accordance with manufacturers & OHS requirements
• Ensure Occupational Health and Safety requirements are met and demonstrate strong communication at all levels
• In conjunction with Team Leader, monitor reliability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
• Develop and monitor systems to ensure scheduled servicing and repairs carried out to the appropriate standards

To succeed in the role, you will have:

• A mechanical trade qualification
• Strong diagnostic, fault finding and problem-solving skills;
• Current MR driver’s licence with a good driving record
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Forklift Licence (Required), White Card (Required), EWP Licence (desirable)
• Exceptional communication skills with a customer service focus;
• A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised;
• Rental/Hire Industry experience will be highly regarded.
