Since 1907, the organisation has grown and developed its social purpose agenda and now educates children in 360 centres comprised of both Childcare Centres and Kindergartens.

At C&K Nth Caloundra Childcare Centre we offer quality education and care for children from birth to 5 years, including an approved kindergarten programme for children in the year before they attend school. We provide before school care, after school care and vacation care for children aged from 5 to 12 years. 

C&K Nth Caloundra Childcare Centre is currently looking for a professional and experienced permanent part time Cook to join their team. Ideally you will have experience in the Early Childhood sector or relevant experience in preparing meals and snacks for large numbers, and a well-developed understanding of children’s nutritional and dietary requirements by maintaining high standard of hygiene.

Our Centre boasts a fully equipped galley style kitchen that overlooks the playground and gives you not only the ability to interact with the children and show off your kitchen skills, all while supporting their little tummies with delicious, nutritious meals and snacks.

Ideally you will have the following:

• Cert IV in Commercial Cookery – Desirable
• Quality Food Supervisor Certificate – Desirable
• Previous experience in cooking for young children within a large commercial kitchen – Desirable
• Knowledge and experience in menu planning for dietary and nutritional requirements
• Current Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain
