Your role:

Our Human Resources team is critical to Northrop Grumman Australia’s success and the enhancing our positive culture. Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking for a  Human Resources Manager  to lead our HR function supporting the Sustainment & Modernisation Operating Unit (SMS OU). Your success will be backed by our HR Director and you will have access to resources and frameworks from the broader Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Working closely with a diverse and geographically dispersed stakeholder group, your primary goal is to collaborate with leaders to provide strategic and operational advice and coaching for people related matters and priorities. The role will also support the delivery of a broad range of HR projects in line with the Operating Unit’s priorities and the HR Functional plan.

This position can either be based in Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane.

About you:

Key to success will be your ability to communicate effectively to coach and empower leaders. You easily build relationships and bring deep generalist HR knowledge and business acumen together when working with stakeholders to solve business problems. 

From a HR perspective, you are ideally degree qualified (in HR or related field) and have a generalist HR background with broad experience across employment relations, talent management, workforce planning, performance management and compensation etc. You’re analytical and forward thinking and understand how data and technology can be leveraged to influence decision making.

Lastly you either hold or have the eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
