The Organisation
Our client is one of Australia’s market leaders within their industry. Due to the growth of the company, the business is currently looking for a highly skilled professional to combine their understanding of both Payroll and HR functions, with implementation of projects, and then run the management of the highly functioning team. Our client is looking to bring a strong candidate with team leading and managerial experience, that has additionally had exposure to Payroll and HR within the past. The business offers working from home flexibilities, with a couple days in the office based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

The Position Description
The role will include the following, however will not be limited to:

  • Ability, mentor and develop a small- medium sized team
  • Provide system demonstration and training to staff
  • Play a key role in the successful implementation of HR and Payroll systems
  • Managing data migration, testing and end user deployment phases
  • Setting up standardized reports and report groups
  • Ability to deal with general Payroll duties
  • Ability to communicate and deal with internal stakeholders
  • Provide high quality customer service through accurate information and support to stakeholder enquires
  • Identifying and implementing operational efficiencies where relevant

The Ideal Candidates
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Demonstrated capability to identify, implement, and optimize HR and/or Payroll technologies
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to influence
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and projects
  • Ability to manage and measure work for continuous improvement
  • Experience in providing user friendly advice and support to all stakeholders
  • Use of SAP and SuccessFactors in previous roles
