Product Manager

The Company

Our client is an Australian-founded company operating globally across six continents, they have an excellent industry reputation for designing and producing leading technology products and services for the mining / underground and tunneling sector. They are looking for a Product Manager to join their Brisbane based team.

The Role

• As Product Manager you will be responsible for both new product development strategy and full product lifecycle management.
• This role will involve defining new software and hardware products and solutions from emerging market trends, customer research, internal feedback, and ideas as well as the competitive landscape.
• You will work closely with other departments during all phases of Innovation and Lifecycle projects whilst maintaining responsibility for the delivery of commercially attractive and profitable products and solutions.
• Working with the Program Manager and R&D manager, ensuring deliverables are met on time and in budget.

The Person

• We are looking for someone with a relevant tertiary qualification – ideally in Product Management or related / engineering technology experience.
• Experienced in the product management of enterprise level software and hardware solutions preferably for the mining or manufacturing productivity market.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be able to effectively interact with all stakeholders both internal and external both orally and by formal presentation.
