We are looking for a talented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Mackay, QLD. If you enjoy leading a team, and being part of the team, then this hands-on Supervisor role is for you!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Managing the day to day running of the warehouse including warehouse operators and supporting / covering their duties as required

• Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders ensuring accuracy. Both internal and external customers

• Maintain and encourage a safe environment

• Managing frequent cycle counts and the annual stock control

• Assisting customers both in person and over the phone, helping with parts interpreting, prioritizing orders and managing any urgent enquiries / issues

• Parts quality control

• Daily duty delegation

• Manage core and parts credits, organize parts and freight, check parts availability and work with the parts and service team to ensure parts are assigned and allocated accordingly

• Ensures clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and compliance

• Operates manual and automated equipment (including a forklift) to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations, adhering to all health and safety guidelines

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Previous warehousing experience – ideally in an automotive, parts or similar industry is advantageous

• Be keen to step into a hands-on leadership role , leading the team by example and being a team player

• Great people and organisational skills

• Time management and planning skills

• Forklift License

• Excellent computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and have the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

• Manual handling
