Job Description

At the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) we work for the people of Victoria by helping the government achieve its strategic objectives. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Executive Officer for our Deputy Secretary, Economic Policy and State Productivity Group (EPSP) Group and Land Coordinator General role to provide leadership for our current and emerging economic policy challenges and opportunities facing the Victorian Government.

The EPSP Group works to support the Government to drive economic growth and prosperity, specifically relating to economic development, regional and local government outcomes, international engagement, transport infrastructure and operations, planning, energy, agriculture, resources, environment and budget and financial management. The Group is also responsible for precinct policy and coordination and policy leadership to enhance the utilisation of government owned land.

As the Deputy Secretary, you will be part of DPC’s senior leadership team and Board of Management, leading and managing the EPSP group to ensure efficient and effective performance of its functions in accordance with DPC’s Corporate Plan.

As the Land Coordinator General, you will oversee the whole of government approach in the delivery of land and precinct agenda, advising the Deputy Premier, Premier and other ministers on all issues relating to the Land Coordinator General function.

  • Please note that a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is essential for this role.
