Come and join our corporate client site based in the Sydney CBD. The type of Chef we require for this role will have experience in a busy fast paced kitchen within the corporate or events sector, and will bring a fresh and innovative approach to our team. The successful applicant will work on a full time roster Monday to Friday with no weekends, and occasional evening functions throughout the year – Welcome to your new work life balance !

Key Duties

• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
• Friendly customer service
• Functions, events and inhouse catering
• Stock take and control
• HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
• General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

The Person

• Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)
• Experience working on high-end client functions and/or corporate sector
• Comfortable working under pressure, unsupervised and to tight deadlines
• Full time, ongoing work rights (Mandatory)
• Strong attention to OH&S, Food Safety & HACCP regulations
