Senior Cloud Engineer – $155,000 Including Super

Hudson have partnered with one of Australia’s household names in search of a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer. Create Microservices, build landing zones, manage migrations, lead architecture design and reviews, and support developers to do what they do best – write applications. Your duties will entail:

• Lead architecture, design, review, and implementation across multiple business units. Leverage your extensive Cloud knowledge to drive a multi-faceted architectural approach.
• Operate fluidly between internal and external stakeholders, influencing Cloud-first cutting-edge solutions in a nimble and agile framework.
• Upskill and build out the productivity and efficiency of the Cloud team with an agile-first structure.
• Contribute to automation focussed DevOps practices, and work collaboratively to support Developers alongside the DevOps team.

To succeed you will possess some or all of the following:

• Highly proficient with AWS Core, Security and Application Services (Professional certificates would be advantageous)
• Advanced understanding of relevant Architectural Design Patterns, frameworks, and technologies
• Sound understanding of DevOps methodologies and tooling
• Proven experience in AWS Cloud migration, automation, architecture, networking, and security
• Strong interpersonal skills to comfortably engage with key stakeholders
