 The Opportunity:

Komatsu are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician – Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators at customer sites throughout the Emerald region. You will be working on a variety of equipment and machinery, providing technical expertise and support to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

 Roster: 5:2 Roster or 7:7 Roster

Role Located: Emerald

 What we are looking for:

Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent

Experience in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and machinery, including trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to safety and working in a safe manner at all times

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work on various rosters, including 5&2 or 7&7

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy equipment and machinery

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults and issues

Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components

Complete service reports and maintenance records

Communicate effectively with customers and other team members

Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
