     The Opportunity:

    Komatsu are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician – Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators at customer sites throughout the Emerald region. You will be working on a variety of equipment and machinery, providing technical expertise and support to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

     Roster: 5:2 Roster or 7:7 Roster

    Role Located: Emerald

  •  What we are looking for:

  • Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent
  • Experience in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and machinery, including trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety and working in a safe manner at all times
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work on various rosters, including 5&2 or 7&7
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults and issues
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components
  • Complete service reports and maintenance records
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other team members
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
