We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Warehouse Operations Manager on an on-going, full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role supporting the operations. This role will be based at our logistics centre in Dandenong South and may involve domestic travel.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, managing and developing a team of office and warehouse employees
  • Delivering operational cost, quality and service objectives
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes, operational efficiency and service

Providing and maintaining a safe working environment

Qualifications

We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work autonomously, grow the business, and establish effective relationships with internal customers.

You should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (preferred)
  • Experience in operations management within a complex FMCG warehouse operations
  • Successful leader with the ability to develop a strong team
  • Good knowledge and experience with implementation of lean methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience in WMS systems and processes (SAP preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • A results driven individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project Management and excellent presentation skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills

The successful candidate must be able to travel domestically on occasion and to New Zealand infrequently for warehouse projects.
