Did you know that Woolworths Group currently owns a fleet of over 3,500 stores and distribution centres? Our Property Team, provides strategy and management for purchasing, developing, and maintaining our commercial property.

What does the Grad role offer to you?

Your 2-year grad role includes rotations in Property Development (retail and non retail), Property Management, Asset Management and Network Planning.

At the end of the two years, you will have gained clarity on the direction you’d like to take in your career and with this knowledge and experience step into a permanent full time role based in Sydney.

What will you learn and experience?

  • You’ll be involved in delivering the best property network for our customers
  • You’ll have an opportunity to work on a diverse range of high priority developments from feasibility to delivery
  • You’ll learn from a team of experienced property professionals
  • You’ll develop fundamental property, commercial and business partnering skills
     

What to expect during the recruitment process?
 

  • Applications are now open, closing 3rd April 2023.
  • After the initial screening process of all applications, progressing candidates will be contacted by our Talent Acquisition Team by early April to complete a short online assessment.
  • Selected candidates will be invited to submit a video recording sharing answers to a number of questions.
  • In the following steps, progressing candidates will meet representatives of our team in a virtual and in person interview.
  • Employment starts in January 2024.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for team members with curiosity about Property and passion for retail and innovation with a customer first mindset. As we move to an agile way of working, you will need to bring your self-awareness, resilience and the ability to learn and apply new information quickly. 

  • We are especially looking for candidates who work in our stores or are referred by current team members, but this is not a requirement. 
  • The role is primarily based in our Norwest Head Office in Sydney.
  • Completing Bachelor’s degree by the end of 2023 or completed in the last two years. Property specific qualifications are not required as we’ve see graduates from various fields of study build successful careers in Property
