Your new role

Autism SA are seeking a skilled person to develop high-quality, user-friendly digital content for an exciting new grant funded project aimed at building employers’ confidence in using Inclusive recruitment practices to employ neurodivergent jobseekers.

The successful applicant will have experience in creating innovative digital content. The applicant will have desired knowledge and experience in the employment and/or disability/neurodivergent sectors.

The Digital Content Creator will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Work with the Autism Community Engagement Officer to support the wider community to co-design the content for the project.  
  • Develop content briefs, production schedules and timeframes to ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget. 
  • Lead the planning and development of the content (information, resources, tools, training, frameworks) as per the project’s briefs. 
  • Ensure content developed complies with relevant Human Resources and Industrial Relations legislation. 
  • Work with a range of stakeholders internally and externally to ensure the project objectives are met.  
  • Achieve high quality outcomes by using robust co-production practices, measured through ongoing data collection.  
  • Use best search engine optimization (SEO) practices are followed.
  • Ensure all content is inclusive and accessible. 
  • Be innovative in the development of content. 

What you’ll need to succeed

Essential:

  • A degree in communications, disability, business, or related discipline with relevant experience or 
  • Equivalent level of expertise and experience attained through previous appointments. 

Desirable:

  • Experience in Disability Sector and/or Human Resource sector
  • Neurodivergent, including autistic individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.
