What you’ll do

As a part-time Warehouse Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing supplies and equipment that are crucial to Army capability.

This role presents a great opportunity to learn valuable logistics skills. Not only will you handle, store and distribute everything the Army needs, you’ll also be trained to drive forklifts and potentially trucks.

You’ll also conduct general soldiering duties such as manning defensive positions, patrolling, navigating, traffic controlling, camouflaging vehicles and field equipment.

You’ll gain valuable experience performing tasks such as stores accounting and issuing transactions.

The skills you’ll learn could include:

  • Warehouse management
  • Planning, ordering and distributing
  • Inventory management
  • Personnel management
  • Accounting and financial management
  • On Reserve parade nights, you can expect to participate in specialised skills, plan ahead for exercises and keep up your soldier training. In larger training exercises, you’ll play a valuable role supporting your team and performing your specialised tasks.Whether you’re in barracks or out on exercise, it’s a great opportunity to learn to use advanced machinery, get specialised training and give back to the community – without giving up your current lifestyle.
