SLHD is currently recruiting to casual Assistant in Midwifery positions.

Your new role…

We are looking to employ Undergraduate Assistants in Midwifery on a causal basis to work in Sydney Local Health District facilities including:

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital

Canterbury Hospital

The role of the AIM works within a midwifery plan of care under the supervision and direction of the Registered Midwife (RM) and within the limits of the AIM position description and local policy and protocol. 

We are looking for someone who…

Can commit to a minimum of 2 days’ work per week on a casual basis.

Is currently enrolled as a Midwifery Student (with successful completion of at least two semesters).

About working for SLHD

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
