This highly innovative and well established engineering organisation is going through an exciting period of growth. They are now seeking a Global Talent Acquisition Specialist to support end to end recruitment activities and evolve their talent acquisition function.

The role:
As Global Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead and facilitate end to end talent acquisition activities across all business units on a national and international level.

You will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of the company by working closely with Hiring Managers and other stakeholders to identify, attract and hire talent.

You will be tasked with:

  • Working with Hiring Managers and the broader HR team to understand and map workforce plans and talent requirements for each business area.
  • Determining the appropriate attraction strategy for each open role, including identifying and sourcing talent with direct approaches, advertising, and/or utilising talent pools.
  • Candidate management including shortlisting, conducting phone screens, arranging interviews with Hiring Managers, reference checking and negotiating offers all whilst providing excellent candidate care.
  • Building and maintaining talent pools to identify potential future hires for hard to fill or common roles.
  • Advising Hiring Managers on best practice recruitment and use of systems and technology, providing training as required.
  • Staying up to date with the latest talent acquisition and industry trends, identifying any opportunities to improve talent acquisition practices.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners including agencies, universities and other training providers.

Some out of hours work is required to assist our global offices.
    
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Extensive Talent Acquisition experience preferably in an in-house function.
  • An understanding of engineering or technology focused positions.
  • Strong familiarity with recruitment management platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Capability in building talent pipelines and proactive sourcing techniques including use of LinkedIn recruiter.
  • Professional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence a broad variety of stakeholders.
  • Articulate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise amongst competing demands
