Marketing Specialist

Job Description

Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, enabling us to support our mission of empowering Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable children and adults.

In this role you will work in close collaboration with key stakeholders across the business, requiring a hands-on approach to developing and executing on a marketing plan that will support the segments in achieving their income and retention targets. Marketing Specialist role requires leadership, campaign team management, plan development, campaign planning and execution, reporting, stakeholder and supplier relationship management.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, communicate and maintain the mass segment and middle donor Marketing Plan.
  • Develop, communicate & maintain the Supporter Treatment Journey plans
  • Develop & implement effective ‘push’ campaign activity
  • Direct financial accountability for the management of marketing expenditure for Retention Marketing
  • Your skills and experience will include:

  • Campaign planning and execution, required in a management role
  • Solid experience in direct marketing, including use of direct mail, email, sms, digital to drive response and build long standing relationships
  • Exceptional supporter profiling skills & design of customer experiences
  • Strong customer service approach to all internal stakeholders
  • Working with internal/external agency relationships to develop best practice marketing activity
  • Effective budget management & financial acumen in analysing performance & effecting changes
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or similar
