About Tyro Health

The Tyro Health business unit was formed after acquiring Medipass, an Australian based health fintech, based in Melbourne. Medipass was originally established on the belief that a better health system demands better ways to connect and pay, and we carry that ethos through now as Tyro Health.
 
Our team is focused solely on healthcare related payment and claiming solutions, which connect patients, practitioners and payers in ways that drive system efficiency and better experiences of care. For healthcare providers and partners, we offer a range of digital claiming options, including government funders, private health insurers and direct patient payments.

The Marketing Manager (Tyro Health) is responsible for delivering marketing initiatives with Partners, through optimising and delivering against the strategy behind Tyro’s partnership marketing management including events. The primary purpose of this role is to increase brand awareness, drive lead generation and accelerate conversion to application for Tyro across the Health industry vertical.
 
This role is critical in improving partner advocacy through the development of strong partner relations, as well as adding value to newly on-boarded partnerships through joint initiatives, the execution of go-to-market launch plans and value exchange programs. The Marketing & Events Manager will manage projects end-to-end and will work closely with the rest of the marketing team to deliver against key strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

    • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to deliver Tyro’s partner targets.
    • Deliver and optimise tailored marketing campaigns for Tyro’s 70+ PMS Partners.
    • Work collaboratively with Partnership Managers who own the Partner relationships.
    • Execute campaigns from start to finish on time and on budget.
    • Use a wide range of marketing strategies and techniques including but not limited to: email; press; landing pages; DM; events; road shows; webinars; digital display; SEM; SEO; merchandise; videos; lead nurturing; offers; collateral; and Measure results across partner and event campaigns and provide regular reporting on key metrics.
    • Effectively communicate partner campaign launches and events to relevant internal teams.

Risk Management

Responsible for the identification and management of risk in day to day responsibilities. Comply with Tyro policies and procedures including completing mandatory training within the required timeframes. Role model positive risk behaviours and contribute towards a strong risk culture at Tyro.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

    • 5-8 years marketing experience with a focus on partnership marketing and acquisition across the marketing lifecycle.
    • Events management experience preferred.
    • Tertiary business or marketing-related qualification.
    • Financial services industry experience preferred.
    • Broad understanding of the Australian media environment.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
    • Problem-solving approach.
    • Ability to build scalable solutions.
    • Test-and-learn approach/mentality.
