Reporting to the Retail State Manager, the primary purpose of the Sales Support & Administration Coordinator – Retail is to provide a comprehensive and local back office and frontline support to our state-based Optus Business Retail teams.The Sales Support & Administration Coordinator will assist the Business Retail Sales teams and Business Coaches in achieving and exceeding targets, reducing sales revenue drag. This role will assist our 300+ Retail stores and Harvey Norman stores, providing support so that they can better support our Business customers. The Coordinator will be tasked with exceeding channel, customer and business expectations; driving a timely and exceptional customer experience.

The Sales Support & Administration Coordinator manages the onboarding process of new and existing customers, makes relevant adds/moves/changes and administrative account changes when appropriate. The role comprises of transactional processing, including System & Administrative support to the Retail teams, assisting with finalising sales orders, trouble shooting orders, systems support and related issues. In addition, the Coordinator provides reporting, analytics, activity and productivity measures to ensure the team are meeting and exceeding their KPI’s; liaising between the Retail Sales teams and the National Sales Support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales support to local Business Sales Teams – assisting with sales orders once submitted, trouble shooting orders, assistance with technical issues
  • Assistance in communication & follow up with frontline teams from internal support groups. Outbound contact with customers with open communication when required
  • Identify & provide feedback on sales & market trends
  • Provide excellent level of support to Sales teams, meeting SLA’s for tasks
  • Providing timely feedback to sales teams, support on collation of information & updates
  • Identify areas of improvement and work with internal teams to drive positive outcomes
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal & external stakeholders to drive operational outcomes, maximise speed to activation and provide appropriate feedback
