Rural Gp Assistant – South Burnett

Practice Information: 
These practices are a seven doctor medical practice with mixed billing providing a wide range of services from skin cancer surgery to nursing home consultations.
 
About Murgon & Wondai,
Both towns are situated in the northern end of the South Burnett approximately 2 hours from the Sunshine Coast and 3 hours from Brisbane. They offer excellent shopping and schools and sporting facilities. Kingaroy is the main centre of the region and is approximately a half hour drive away.
 
 
Position Description:
Rural General experience with a wide range of patient presentations. Scope to practice special interests such as mental health and procedural medicine. There are no two days the same which makes for interesting medicine with challenges.
 
After Hours: Yes, One night a week on telephone call and one weekend in every 4-5 weeks with a Saturday morning clinic until midday. 
 
 
Qualifications and Experience:

• A wide range of previous experience and
• Vocationally registered as a general practitioner.
